I'm No Prude

With the technology that comes with live football these days - all the angles, close and far etc...

Isn't it time to make swearing a yellow card offense? I'd even go as far as to say, if the future is important, swearing at an official should be a red card offense.

Football authorities love to encourage good causes, the recent anti-racism campaign, getting professionals involved in local good causes etc - and we are told that footballers are supposed to role models to many youngsters.

So why is it acceptable to beam images into family homes, showing close ups of so-called professionals screaming at a linesman to "FU*K OFF"?

Can people who earn £20,000 a week not be told that part of that is payment for being a good role model?

The solution is easy, why not implement it - tomorrow morning?
