I've heard that the owner of a duplex can "take over ownership of the roof" & have the solar systems, satellite dishes etc, belonging to the apartments directly below, removed from the roof. The duplex owner then becomes enirely responsible for any repairs to that roof
Has anyone else heard if this can be done? If it can, what sort of consultation is needed? Where would you put a solar system other than on the roof? (polite answers only to that one please!)
