we have heard you are not covered by your insurance if there isnt 24hour security on your complex????
I dont know if its every insurance policy so can anyone enlighten me?

Not true at all, I've never heard of such a requirement.

Not heard that and can't see a reason for it. Surely a complex house is no more at risk than one stuck out on it's own somewhere? It also depends on what 24hrs security means. We have a security man/gardener living on site so would that be classed as 24 hr security or would they need to be sat at a gate with a gun?

We just renewed our insurance when we were out the other week with Aviva and it was slightly cheaper cos we have 24 hour security but there was certainly the option to buy it with no 24 hour security.
