Can someone please advise me as have heard several different things! If I take my laptop to Turkey for internet use mainly and do not have a phone line do I purchase a dongle and if so do I buy it in the UK or Turkey? if bought in Turkey how much do I reasonably expect to pay and once the purchase has been made do I then expect to pay out further to top the dongle up depending on how much I use the internet?Answers gratefully received.

Karennina, if you go into the "Telephones and Mobile" section, page 2..you will find all about dongles..i think.

thanks for that Brian I have had a look and am no further forward all very confusing and seems rather expensive, guess I will just pay my 1.5 lira and head off to the internet cafes! Thanks again though.

If your laptop is wireless you will be able to pick up free internet in most bars now.

Buy an iPad with 3g..AWESOME!! :-)

or just get an iphone with a £5 a month Skype membership and you'll never look back. Defo.
