What is "High Season" for rental ?
« on: May 05, 2011, 12:53:24 PM »
Sorry if this is in the the wrong section  :)

In the past I have tried to figure out what the definitive high season / low season dates are for rental rates.     As school holidays vary across the country it's hard to pin down.

Other than trawling to see who is charging what, when, is there an easy rule of thumb ?

Also popular is high season being the UK school summer holiday (or as close as can be). Low season to me is April/May and non-school holiday September plus October. The time between that and school holiday is mid  :) I don't think there is a definitive rule as such.
