Windows 10
« on: August 01, 2015, 17:31:19 PM »
I downloaded the new Windows 10 on to our 2 laptops yesterday.. One was running on Windows 7... The other on Windows 8.1...    Well what can I say.. Love it... Anything is better than th4e dreaded Windows 8.... Easy to use.fast and so far no problems.  Took 2 hours to download and set up though... I didn't pre order it as I knew nothing about it.. Looked online and got it from there...

I downloaded it today. Took advantage of Microsoft's free download. Was a bit slow to download here in Uzumlu. Just under 3 hours. Well worth it though. Such a good system. Far better than windows 8.1.

Hi Anne,
Can you remember which site you used to download it from?

Here's an easier way, it makes Windows do all the work for you:

http://venturebeat.com/2015/07/28/how-to-force-windows-to-start-downloading-the-windows-10-update-files/

Other than a few privacy issues (easily resolved) and a sh1te built in browser (Edge), its a good upgrade if you're on Windows 8 or 8.1.
