TV Licensing Warning
« on: January 23, 2019, 08:59:07 AM »
I've received an email from TV Licensing stating that they've been unable to collect my payment &, if I don't pay by credit card in the next couple of days, I'll be unlicensed & liable for £1000 fine.

This is certainly a fraud attempt because:

a) I haven't had a TV licence since September 2011, so an expiry date of 19/1/2019 is utter rubbish

b) I've only had my current email address for 5 or so years, so TV Licensing would never have had this address.

So, if anyone gets a similar email, hit the delete button, then speak to TV Licensing themselves

For info, you may need to change the folder.
I had a phone call today from a none English speaking person who reported to be from the police .
Lot of talk and noise in the background.
Was asking when I came into the country.
