Just walked in the door from my jab...the NHS page on the website hasn't been updated, but the age has been dropped to 60+ now. Did it myself after reading on this forum. First jab done 20m ago and second on 14May; looking for a flight from 17May!

Iam 56 ,fit,in excellent health,no underlying conditions( except an asymptomatic congenital heart defect)My GP has me in group 6 and Iam getting vaccinated tomorrow and my 2nd on May 22.Havent got a clue how this has happened but I’ll take it,supposed to be in Turkey May 25 so could be a step in right direction

I think the vaccine becomes fully effective  two weeks after the second injection.

Had both of mine in Turkey, no after effects,  only eating a lot of
Chow Mein lately 🤩🤩
