Passenger Locator Forms
« on: March 31, 2022, 13:30:03 PM »
Hi all.
Didin't know in what category to put this.
I know coming into the UK we no longer have o complete passenger locator forms, but when travelling to Turkey do we still have to complete them on the Government site?
Thanks
Gary

It gave you a HES code, which related to a QR code on the form.
Are these still needed?

Thanks

As far as I know you still need to fill out the PLF on the government website but HES numbers no longer needed so it won't generate one.

Hope this helps

Just got this of Turkish embassy website. See number 2:

Starting from 3 March 2022, entry requirements for airline passengers for Türkiye are subject to the following procedures:

1. Airline passengers (12 years and older) who have presented documents certifying either,

-That they completed the full course of vaccinations approved by the Turkish Ministry of Health or the World Health Organization and their final dose was applied more than 14 days before arrival in Türkiye or,

-That they contracted COVID-19 in the last 6 months before arrival in Türkiye, starting from the 28th day of their first positive PCR test result or,

-A negative PCR test result taken within the last 72 hours prior to arrival in Türkiye or,

-A negative antigen test result taken within the last 48 hours prior to arrival in Türkiye, are no longer required to self-isolate.

2. Passengers are no longer required to fill the Form for Entry to Türkiye.

3. Children below the age of 12 are exempt from presenting PCR/Antigen test reports and vaccine certificates during arrival in Türkiye.

If you check the Come Fly with Me FB page you'll see that some airlines are still insisting on a plf so it's worth doing one until its absolutely confirmed otherwise they may refuse you on the flight.
