I have heard that you can register a PC to receive Sky TV from a UK subscribers address. Will this work if you bring that PC over to Turkey? Has anyone tried this successfully? :)

It might be dependant on you still having a UK IP address when in Turkey. Check their site to see if it can only be used on line in the UK which is what BBC, Channel 4 and ITV say. We get over this buy using a proxy server which makes the sites above think we are in the UK so we can get UK TV.
Hope that helps

As you are no longer living here you would not need that service. ;)

You are quite correct, I don`t need this service, but I have friends out there that do.
I thought that you may have had a decent fallback proxy they could use, but after reading your other post I see that you pay for it, so they may as well stay with the free ones they are presently using.

Crabbit,
We have used the free ones and had to constantly keep changing them as some last 1 week others last more time. Some gave better performance than others in connecting.
Found it a pain to keep changing. With the one we pay for we have never had a problem hence why we went that way.It was set up purely for the purpose of people living abroad so is a dedicated server.
If they are happy with the ones they use then all's fine but if they want our contact tell them to get in touch.
