Get me out of this bloody country we used to be Great Britain ,now U.K.we are now nothing, just watching my local news in the south a 101 year old man beaten and robbed of his savings.
But worst of all this has really p....d me all our troops returning from   Iraqi marched through Luton there main base and were booed and shouted at by groups of Iraqis and we let them get away with it what other country in the world would let that happen no wonder we are now just u.k.roll on 3 weeks time when i move to turkey ,at least you know where you stand out there .:(:-\

I was digsusted with the protest Lance but surely the point is that the protestors were allowed to express their views. I think you'll find that the backlash against this protest will prove what a decent country this is.

1 in 8 people living in uk born aboard ! note that doesn't include those who were born here. not a racist comment just a fact, you can nolonger put "old fashioned values" on things that happen in britain today. you wanted multi cultural britain you got it.

The irony is that it's because of our troops that they are allowed to air their views in public. Maybe they should all go to Iran or Afghanistan and try a similar protest. I'm pretty sure they would not be allowed to do so.

We all want freedom of speech and yet some cannot see how or why this is allowed. Democracy is alien to some yet they are hypocritical enough to use it to their advantage when it suits.
