Hi just wondered if anyone can advise me of the date of the first Calis car boot sale of the season please?

25th Sept
23rd Oct
20th Nov

Is this just an ex pat thing, or do turkish folk take an interest into car booting too......just curios??

The car boot sales in Calis organised by the 3Cs charity have now  been going  for 8 years MarKar. The Turkish people have really embraced the car boot concept, so much so that Fethiye Belediye organise their own second hand sales on the first Wednesday of each month in the Tuesday Market covered fruit and veg area.

I can confirm that since I have restarted going this winter that the car boot is almost exclusively Turkish people selling and for proper car boot prices too (not overpriced) in most cases.

It's great, they love it for buying and selling and I prefer it this way too.

FYI the date of the April car boot sale will have to be moved, although at the mom, 3C's cannot give a date. The reason is that 16th April is the date of the referendum in Turkey, so we have been asked not to hold a car boot on this date. The situation is further complicated as 23rd April is National Childrens Day!
