Security Changes at Dalaman
« on: March 30, 2010, 23:58:58 PM »
I came through Dalaman, earlier today & there is now security screening just before passport control & that is where bottles of water etc are now being confiscated. There is no longer any screening at the entrance to the departure gates.

So if you now want to have anything to drink within the airport you're stuck with paying airport prices:-\

Must be the only airport (apart from other Turkish airports!) to do this[:(!]  So long as no liquid is going on the aircraft what's the problem?  Another money-spinner methinks.  In fact, I would have thought this would be contrary to Human Rights?  what if your plane is delayed for hours[?]

Do they still have the secondary screening before you enter the holding tanks?

peecee " Another money-spinner methinks."

Although it is the same system in UK, Dalaman is such a user unfriendly airport that people are quite right to be suspicious about anything that happens there.
