King Kenny is magic
He wears a magic hat
When he saw the premier league
He said I'm havin that.

One of my favourite songs sang over the years, it might have been a while since it was sung but we still won it. I won't mention the car crash that has occurred since. In my opinion you don't have to be jolly all the time to be a nice person.

"King" Kenny, the director of football who had to be dragged back from his golfing holiday in Estoril when his protege John Barnes (he of 4, 2, 2, 2 formation) managed to completely lose the plot at Celtic.

Oh, and who can forget one of "king" Kenny's marquee signings, the supremely talented, charismatic and aptly named Rafael Scheidt.

Who in your opinion John F is a great manager, bearing in mind that they all seem to make mistakes at some stage. I would have Sam Allardyce back in a shot at Rovers even though I'm not enamoured with his style of football, he keeps teams up but I don't think he is a great manager.  I personally can't stand Sir Alex but his management career was first class as is Arsenal Wenger, although Arsenal fans may disagree. There was a wonderful programme about Chris Coleman the other week and he has done wonders with the Welsh team, only time will tell if he becomes great.
These days managers aren't given time because of the high stakes involved and I feel that a lot of the blame is placed at their door even when it is the players that should be taking a long hard look at themselves. Football is a different game these days but I will still be glued to the radio this afternoon cheering my team on because once a team is in your blood they are there forever through thick and thin.

On a "percentage win" basis, Kenny is the seventh most successful Premier League manager.

Without googling please who are the managers above him in order.

Sorry Highlander could only name Mourinho, Ferguson and Ranieri before resorting to cheating. I wonder how these managers would compare to the old school type managers, especially when dealing with some of the more highly strung players, shall we say. Thanks for answering JF, I think Jock Stein could be included amongst the old school as could Bill Shankly.
