Title: General Guide?
Post by: Emma867 on May 11, 2010, 13:15:12 PM
Hiya

I'm going to Olu at the end of June and was wondering, does anyone have a list of what I should see do/avoid during my fortnight.

I know the internet has list of excursions etc but would prefer 'real' advice from 'real' people :D

Turkish baths?
Turtle Beach?
Butterfly....ermm.. valley?
Parasending?

It is and well loved  -  if you follow the Lagoon road around, you will come to a couple of beach clubs - very relaxing and more 'private' that the main beach.  However remember what was said earlier about frothy bits......:D:D

If you want to do boat trips etc, walk round, don,t buy from reps as much more expensive and barter for the best price

Thanks for all the tips guys.

Cheers - I would never visit the Dolphinarium. I think those kind of places are a discrace, never been to one and never will. Poor creatures :o(

I would definatly do the Paragliding!!  I am over 40 and petrified of hights so jumping of a mountain isn't a natural choice for a days activity.......But it was the most serine, fantastic experience ever.  The drive up the mountain was more scary.  I wanted to go straight back up and do it again!!

Take your camera and pay for the DVD we still watch it 3 years on and laugh at how excited I was when we landed!!
