Title: Wi-fi problems in the Fethiye/Calis Beach areas?

I had arranged to have wi-fi installed at our villa but have been told by the installer that this is not currently possible because 3 satellites serving the area are 'down' due to the current troubles. Is this true?

Not sure about that ArtyMar. My hubby speaks to his family in Ankara every day via Skype no problem. Ankara being one of the main place to be hit during the Coup. Can't see why Fethiye would be affected and no where else.

We have just had Finet wifi installed seems all ok about 5.5 speed

Nothing wrong with mine either. In actual fact the TV has frozen far less in the last month or so than I can remember in quite a while.

Ours better than the last few weeks. Bit of a blip a couple of days ago for a couple of hours but good now.
Which company was going to be installing it?
