positive things about living in Turkey

oh dearie me! didn't think my little comment would have to be explained to anyone lol!! people's reaction's to some posts on here are unbelieveable!!!
The most positive things about living in Turkey (if I must stick to the original title so as not to confuse some people):
the weather (can you just believe I have said that after our recent ordeal?!)-most of the year
the quirkiness of the culture & lifestyle
being able to be in the fresh air so much
the most breath-taking scenery on my front door step
being able to live our dream (i.e. living abroad) at a younger age than we thought possible
the food & being able to buy only fresh seasonal fruit & vegetables on a daily basis
the wealth of fascinating sites around the country & being able to travel easily & cheaply long distances around the country to see them
plus many, many more!!!

The Friendly Genuine People
The Culture
The Weather
How a Dolmus will pick up and drop off anywhere
How a Dolmus will go off route to drop you nearer your home
Shop keepers who give you a bottle of water when your just passing!!
How the children are treated!!
The food
Solar Heating
How the bins are emptied twice a day regardless of season
The cheap rates!!
No water rates
Bank Interest rates
How the large bottles of water (24 ltr I think)are delivered to your door (3 flights up) at no extra charge whether its 1, 2 or 3 nothing is to much trouble!
The respect that is so missing in the UK
The fresh fruit and veg.
Haggling
The views
etc etc etc............... we love the place xxx
