:) we don't have a "tele" over there either.Makes the kids so much more active.Don't miss the soaps either while i am away. They've usually all died, moved away or got new heads by the time i come home! The one thing i do miss is bisto gravy. You can probably get gravy on food over there but it's always far to hot . :)

I miss my son who usually stays with his dad while I am in Calis, so this time I am taking him with me! Can't wait, we will have a lovely time together as now I feel confident that I have found a place that we can enjoy together and he won't feel too bored as a 13 year old!

:)its to give you the impression they are carrying something more lethal than a part of their anatomy, we'd been home an hour when we heard the sirens go past, and I said . 2yes we're home", but then again a few sirens would'nt go amiss in Calis. ;)

And there was me thinking that you were one of the sirens of Calis.

Siren: a figure from Greek mythology, a dangerous bird-woman, a seductress who enticed men and drew them to their deaths.

I'm with Colwyn on this one, I am the other person who buys the Turkish Daily News when I'm over there.
I don't spend enough time there to really miss anything but if I were there for any length of time, I suppose it would be my friends/family and cheese.
