I have searched high and low - Tanzas, Migros, Sunday Calis Market
and other supermarkets - can't find it! Do they sell it at all in Turkey? Does anyone know anywhere in Fethiye thats sells it? I know I could buy the whole almonds but I dont have a grinder and for the recipe I have it has got to be ground - any ideas anyone please? Thanks.

There is a shop/small wholesalers on the same road as the Saturday market at Patlangic. It is on the right side of the road as you look up the road towards Overcik, 2/3 doors up from the chemist. Its wholesale but they will sell it by the gramme.

You can buy whole ones at the spice stalls in the "Everyday Fruit and Veg Market" and they'll put them through a grinder for you at no extra cost.

KKOB is that the market adjacent to the fish market ? Mr Pookie has had his nuts ground there upon occasion.....(joking apart, really !).

So are you saying the ' Every day fresh fruit and veg Market' is the one in Fethiye where you can buy the fresh fish?? I have never noticed nuts for sale there but I will look next time and ask themto grind them for me. Thought there had to be somewhere where you can get them. Thanks for your help.

Yes. You just walk through the archway from the Fish Market into the Fruit and Veg Market and there are 3 or 4 spice stalls in there. I always go to Bayram's stall which is right next to the Oztoklu Restaurant.
While you're in there have a break at the Oztoklu Restaurant. They're not as expensive as those in the Fish Market. 8)
