guinness celebrates its 250th birthday

I didnt realise you couldnt get guinness in Calis freely....when we went to the irish bar on St Patricks day there were loads of guinness promotional hats, glasses etc that we were all wearing......we all drank plenty of efes. I think it should be celebrated in the irish bar just for the hell of it just cause we cant drink it we can still celebrate its birthday and its  an excuse for a party...can anyone suggets it to them.

karen...just read this thread.This is Ronnie from the irish bar in fethiye.We didnt have and maybe should have had a party regardless whether their was guinness or not.we got no response from customers on this at all which was surprising for us so we didnt have  a special night.if we get guinness from abroad it would be pointless as we would have to charge alot .so sorry again for missing the big day itself.We are proud to say we officially sell irn bru ... not the same as a guinness but boy what a drink...especially for hangover!
