One is a "Balik Ekmek" boat which does the traditional style Turkish fish in bread.

The other does "Balik Ekmek" and also does a battered fish in bread.

There's sometimes only one boat there but both are usually there on market days, weekends and holiday times.

KKOB They should make you the local tourist information officer, as always informative and interesting information. [^]

We had fish in bread there last summer.  Lovely - and loads of it!  Hubby ordered some beers, and a little lad was sent running off to buy some for us!  :D

The pelicans were sitting outside and ate all the leftovers!   ;)

Whereabouts are these boats, near where the water taxi drops you off?

The one we saw Jenny was not the long stretch of the harbour where the majority of the large boats are moored up, but where you go round the corner, not sure about the other one though!

Follow the "river" that runs through the Tuesday and Friday market site and the Balik Ekmek boats are moored where it discharges into the harbour.
