Prices - food and drink
« on: February 23, 2011, 12:04:08 PM »
I realise this subject has just been mentioned and now locked.  Could I just comment that it is useful to know if the price of beer, wine and food has gone up, as it could make a big difference to our holiday.   We holiday in Calis for 4 weeks at a time, and although we are not big drinkers at home, when we are on holiday we do tend to enjoy drinks at lunchtime and evening with our meals.   We certainly do not just look for the cheapest beer, we are just looking to eat/drink in pleasant surroundings but not overpay for anything.  If the price of beer/wine/meals has gone up it is just helpful to know this so we can ensure we have enough spending money with us.

If the exchange rate keeps up the way it is at the moment I don't think you will need to worry.
Turkey seems a good holiday destination compared to the Euro zone.
