Can again recommend Kale Park.  New team from Izmir running it. Lovely lunch of hot chicken salad with pesto sauce especially made for  us. The chef is also making jams etc for sale at stall near door.

Has the rubble from the partial demolishing been removed yet?

How much of the original place remains? we have been meaning to go up but all this talk of rubble + demolition put us off.
Is the gian chess board still there ?

No noise when when we were there?  Lovely peace and quiet with great views.
Perhaps it's the Weddings in the evenings?
Sam, We did see a dolmus on this road, but I don't know which one you would get. Possibly the
one to Kayakoy.
Directions, if you drive to near the end of the one way street in Fethiye which has all the Banks heading out of town,  there is a road running up the hill on the right it signposted Kayakoy and is the road to the Rock Tombs. Go straight up this road and the restaurant is at the top on the right.
You can see the restaurant from a long way off if you are coming into Fethiye it's on the
hill near all the fortifications and the Turkish Flag.

Dear Jacqui

Thanks for directions. That sounds quite easy. I know where the banks are so should be able to find it.

hope the service has improved
it used to be atrocious with an army of waiters-but all just standing talking to each other avoiding customers at all cost
