Current Bank Interest Rates
« on: February 01, 2012, 09:56:39 AM »
Hi I am interested to find out what the current other banks interest rates are, I know there is a introduction bonus rate and then a normal interest rate and it is the normal rate I am interested in.

ING Orange account is 10% or 9.75% on the 32 day account, what are you getting if you bank elsewhere?

Rates went up slightly in December. Will vary according to how much you have invested and the number of days. Finansbank just negotiated 12.25 with me, but its 92 days. Can't withdraw anything during that time without losing interest.
They offered 11. something for 32 days.
92 days is a gamble as rates may increase during that time and you miss out.
But they could fall....
with an Orange account you can withdraw without losing interest.

So all down to personal preference and attitude to risk really.
