Just for information unless I am the only one who did not know this... did you know that you cannot phone Finansbank using a mobile? It has to be a land line!

Unless something has changed recently, i have never had a problem speaking to the staff at Finans from my mobile.

Nor had I before either, but Tinks told me when I contacted him for the number before I saw Linda's reply. Even the mobile number above would not go direct to the branch.

I didn't have access to a working land line and in the end I managed to find an email address for  Gozde which I sent her at gone 5pm (bank closed and it is Friday) and she rang me at half past six. You wouldn't get that in the UK (either) I am sure

In our experience most of the expat customer reps in banks are willing to give you their personal mobile phone numbers, so no problem in contacting the person you need.
