The exchange rate appears to be dropping by the day. Does anybody know what the forecast is? Thank you.   :)

I think we will have a clearer idea after the new Pope has been elected    ;)

More seriously I do not see how anyone on the Forum could answer that question with any degree of accuracy. I maybe proved wrong of course.

No, seriously, I'm a newbie and wondered if others can almost predict from their experience of watching it down the years?  Thanks for making me laugh though....that's cool!!

Sorry, my crystal ball is broken & i can't get the parts out here! First time in Turkey it was IRO 400,000 to the £, which gradually rose to 2,500,000 to £ over the years.

In more recent times, I think the lowest was about 2.15 & the highest just below 3, so pay your money & take your choice

If we could forecast currency we would all be rich as we could be dipping in and out of currency markets and doing a bit of buying and selling...  ;D  ;)
We just have to keep our fingers crossed.  However, a few years ago we thought it good at 2.20. Last year we were getting 2.87... This year...I will get out my Tarot Cards and have a look. : :)

Chairman of the Bored, I bow to your position, but.......sadly you are wrong. Nevertheless, how I wish you were right. I could then sail through life not giving a monkeys!   How fab would that be??  ;D
