Title: Kale Park & Gemiler Beach via Kaya
Post by: Ian on December 31, 2009, 15:21:47 PM
Well - what a wonderful day we have had so far!!!  8)
Decided to find Kale Park (must be the only person who has driven past it a few times and never noticed it as we thought it was much higher up!!!) - so found it - they were getting ready for this evening but we had a lovely light lunch - sat for an hour then moved up and over the top to Gemiler Beach - coffee for Gill and an apple tea for me and then back through Kaya and a short walk in the village - wondeful :D

This evening with friends to somewhere on the beach in Ciftlik for New Years Eve  :) :)

Thanks Andy - been giving you a wide berth after seeing you in a rather fetching little number with a tutu !!!  ;)

Have a good one too - no dressing up in 2010 (except a Chelsea shirt when you more than likely will have reason to celebrate at the end of the season!)

Not been to Gremiler beach for years as last time got ripped off.

As you come out of kale Park, you turn right to the top of the hill and then turn left and climb up the mountain road to Kaya Koy.Straight through the village onto gemiler beach. Its an alternative to going through Hisarano but just as bumpy.A better view of Kaya Coy though and the ghost village from this direction.
