Man City Vs Liverpool
« on: December 27, 2013, 11:18:18 AM »
After watching the match yesterday I must say that Liverpool are the best Premier League side to visit the Etihad. A draw would have been a fairer result as the linesman flagged Sterling offside when clearly he wasn't. Joe Hart was in good form and needed to be. All in all a great match where both teams and supporters can be proud of their performances. The only downside was that Brendan Rogers in his frustration accused the referee of bias as he apparently comes from Greater Manchester. On their performance yesterday I would tip Liverpool as potential PL top four, and with the return of Sturridge, Gerrard and Enrique, they could well go on to win it. God Forbid! :-\

Rogers was out of order - the referee was as bad to Liverpool as he was to Man City :D

Very interesting analysis ... but the Arsenal regained the number one slot.

Did anyone notice that as Squarez had less and less impact on the game in the final third of the match, that the diving increased, or was that just me?

It will be interesting to see how Suarez will handle the obvious provocation he'll get throughout the game at Chelski tomorrow. I bet the likes of Terry can't wait to get working on him.
Hopefully, for football, he'll handle it and a Ref might be strong on those trying to provoke him.
I'm no Liverpool fan, but watching Suarez play is total entertainment.

Is that the 'Course Squarez is committed to Liverpool' cash?  Or has the Present Mrs Tickets been gambling my money away on CPFC staying up and Liverpool winning the PL ........ LOL

Could I really have been the only one noticing the diving yesterday?

As to Jacques Cousteau Squarez vs John 'Ever such a nice Bloke' Terry.  I can't wait to see him get his teeth into that .... no only joking.  On which point which one is going to make the first racist joke or comment???

Think Puma has already answered that question, probably watched the replay, like the rest of us.

A request from Brendan Rogers that all the Chelsea players carry sachets of ketchup to smear on their arms just in case Louis gets peckish! :P
