My Norton protection ran out today and i want to install the Microsoft one that you told me about, do i have to delete the FireFox what i installed ,also where do i find out that Norton has been deleted.:D ;)[^]

Lance,

You can try and delete Norton from your Start/Control Panel/Add Delete programs. HOWEVER - past experience tells me that Norton is a sod to get rid of. You might find bits of it are still left on your computer and will pop up from time to time. Hopefully it won't cause any problems for you and I don't think you will need to delete Firefox if you are installing another security suite.

Thanks stoop i have got rid of norton and also Mcafee have got firefox/mozilla installed will i have to get another virus protector .
I was going to install microsoft security is there any need now ,the firefox i have is the latest one 3.6.2.cheers. [?] ;)

Lance,why not download free the AVG virus protection and if you need a firewall prog ZoneAlarms free version wins most accolades against all the competition.

Don't bother with any of them. From what I've read so far, anyone that got access to your system would probably be doing you a favour :D
