Problem removing Security Master av

Today I keep getting a notification from Security Master AV that I have a load of securiy risks, I am assuming this is to get me to buy their product, it comes up all the time, also google search is now replaced by gala directory although google is my default. Have tried to remove from progammes but no joy. Can some kind person please help. Many thanks. Elaine

Careful!!!!!  Security master AV is a rogue spyware programme. Do a search on Ask Jeeves or maybe Google and you can find ways to remove it. TRY TO GET RID AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and do not use your computer for secure things like banking buying on line etc until it is cleared:(
