I had to install software so I guess the answer at the moment is "it probably won't work"
Scunner I already have a home server connected to the TV so don't need the gizmo you mentioned. It was just a question to see if getting an internet TV was worth it and the answer at the moment seems to be no. Will just treat ourselves to a new TV without that feature. Thanks all

I have a Samsung Internet TV, I bought it at Tecnosa near the Otogar.
I also bought a VPN router that plugs direct into the TV,
we now get numerous film and video packages and also
BBC iplayer.
works very good.
