If you get the chance, try out this new little cafe in Uzumlu. Its on the Main Street on the corner of the mosque square.
Good for breakfast soup, lunchtime kofte and mid evening kebabs.
Plus reasonable prices
-
Just what Uzumlu needs, somewhere to eat, there is hardly any choice! ;)
-
Very good!
Tell me more- is the owner new to the village or is it an existing business expanding?
-
Haven't seen it yet but apparently it's more like a takeaway than a cafe and sells good cheap food.
Will try it soon I expect. 8)

Hi, anymore feedback on the new cafe/takeaway
-
John had a chicken kebab today, was in a flatter sort of bread which he said was very tasty. And an Ayran. I had 2 cays, total 5tl.
Nice to see a traditional little eatery in amongst the English signs that seem to be taking over the village.
Friendly people, they enjoyed our foster dog singing along to the mosque!

Where EXACTLY in Uzumlu is this place???
-
Opposite Ramazan the Berber. In his old shop. 8)

Got ya now, thanks.
-
And while I am on here have the Uzumlu bars banged up the price of a beer for 2014 yet?
-
Some have.
-
Lol, come on Hamlet what are we at now 6.5 tl. Dont keep me in suspense!!!
-
Some still at 6tl others 7tl
-
Thanks Hamlet
I have to budget for these things as the big girl only gives me 6tl a week pocket money
-
We tried their kebaps last week, only 3tl and delicious. They have a few tables outside, so we enjoyed ours in the sunshine.
