Christmas Fundraisers - Amount raised.
« on: January 10, 2021, 20:27:33 PM »
Apologies for the slight delay I wanted to publish as near to the final total as possible.

First things first…….

This year it will be with the usual pleasure but also with great sadness that I will transfer all of the money raised to the 3Cs in loving memory of Anne Jenns.  Anne, who was a tireless worker for and stalwart of the Calis Childrens Charity for many years, sadly passed away on 15 December 2020.

I hope the amount raised is a small but fitting tribute to Anne's contribution to the Charity.

R.I.P Anne  :( :( :(

So….. once again very many thanks to scunner for providing the platform which makes this even possible.

As with previous years the outstanding generosity of CBF members has raised a fantastic total.

This year it is £ 920.00. A fabulous total indeed especially when you consider it was raised by only 27 members on the Calendars and 8 members on the 12 Days of Christmas.

So it’s a huge thank you to these wonderful people.

Equally a big thank you to Anne Jenn’s friends in England and Turkey - George Rimmer, Janet Freeman, Liz Burton, Linda Brett and Kathryn Taylor all of whom made donations in her name.

Until the next time, STAY SAFE   :)

Hi John
Well done once again.  The relatively easy bit is making the donation.  The hard work is done by yourself and without your efforts the fund raising would not be possible.  Many thanks for all you do for a worthy cause.  Dennis    :)   :)

Brilliant!   Well done everyone, especially Highlander for arranging the fundraisers.   Such a lovely gesture to for it to be donated in loving memory of Anne Jenns.

That's a brilliant amount Highlander, well done to everyone who donated and thank you to Scunner and to yourself for all the hard work you have put in to make this possible.
A fitting tribute to Anne I think

Agree with all others here, John. Thanks for managing this every year and thanks to all CBFers who ensure 3Cs and the kids get something to look forward to in the New Year.

Nice of you to say, but I must point out that in that duo around 100% of any hard work came from Highlander :D
