do you think that I would be allowed to bring back some extra large pine cones from Turkey and would I have to go through the "anything to declare" route when we get back in the UK?

Only had a quick glance, but looks like you'd be fine - but check it carefully yourself re quantities etc.

Thanks John  - a very informative article. I'll give them a ring to see how many individual pine cones they consider will make up a wreath.
