Title: I'm over performing
Post by: Highlander on January 26, 2011, 22:13:44 PM: In task manager performance jumps from 5 % - 100 % and computer stops.

Any ideas. Have run full scan and deleted Trogan (Whatever that is) - nothing reported in second scan. Could have sworn I heard music playing when nothing was open.

In task manager you should be able to click the column titles to sort the list by the column you click - by clicking the right column header this should show you in order which processes are using the most resources. Often one will be using way more than everything else - once you know which application it is, you can address it.

highest by far in right hand column VM Size is iexplorer.exe
