In task manager performance jumps from 5 % - 100 % and computer stops.
Any ideas. Have run full scan and deleted Trogan (Whatever that is) - nothing reported in second scan. Could have sworn I heard music playing when nothing was open.

The music is provided by God's waiting room. In task manager you should be able to click the column titles to sort the list by the column you click - by clicking the right column header this should show you in order which processes are using the most resources. Often one will be using way more than everything else - once you know which application it is, you can address it.

Thanks for that.
I know we're both going to regret this exchange because you will know what you are talking about and I will be unable to understand the simplest of explanations. Be here goes
highest by far in right hand column VM Size is iexplorer.exe
-
Ok, just close internet explorer, then open it again. It is possibly as simple as that.
-
Thanks again - the iexplorer is less but the performance indicator is still dancing up and down.
Dinna fash yersel - I'll check with our IT man tomorrow.
-
If in doubt do what the IT professionals do - reboot :)
-
LOL - our last IT man's stock phrase without fail any time I phoned him was "Oh - I've never heard of that before":(.
Thanks again.
