Hot Lap? You Need to be Cool Like Me

Bought one of these and really does the job - I've gone from around 76C CPU temperature to about 58C. Also my lap isn't hot and sweaty anymore!! Would be very good if you use your lappy in Turkey too. Well worth the price (£9.99 delivered - UK address) - a few colours to choose from too:

"Also my lap isn't hot and sweaty anymore"

Nor mine - the cream the doctor prescribed worked a treat :).

My laptop was really hot and I got one of those fan gadgets from Ebay but although it helped a little, one afternoon last month it got so hot it turned itself off.  I put it in the fridge for a while.  After this I read on the internet that lap tops have ventilators and if they get bunged up with dirty and fluff the laptop overheats, so they must be cleaned.  So I got the hoover out and hoovered all the vent slats.  It has worked perfectly every since and is nice and cool.
My son says I am the only person he knows whose laptop has been refrigerated and then hoovered.:D :):P

As well as helping the cooling ,it sometimes helps quieten a pc down if it is particularly dirty ,its worth occasionally removing the case (on a tower) if you can manage and very gently hoover around the fan with a soft brush (very carefully)
Also the intake on the back of a flat screen tv gets covered with fluff so thats worth a clean occasionally .  :)
