Printer problem

Please can anyone help I am not able to print anything as my printer keeps telling me thats its offline.  I have been on loads of sites and done various things but still no joy.

Try reinstalling it busybee, if you have the disc that came with it when you bought it. if no joy, Computer Gold in Fethiye are very good  and will sort it out for you.

Try uninstalling first then reinstall the drivers - add printer, if no drivers google them on the net for your operating system download and install. Also try a different USB lead as may be a com problem (if not wifi). If using XP try switching on printer after booting computer it may well pick it up and install drivers automatically.

Lift the lid and see if you can spot the sensor. Try covering it with a bit of paper and see if this works. That was all mine needed.

Another thing you can try before uninstalling busybee, go into control panel,click devices and printers,then right click on your printer,in the box that opens click troubleshoot and see if it tells you of any problems detected.

What printer is it Barb?

I'm thinking Epson, possibly model number SX something or other - can be a bloody nightmare.
