Dangerous dogs at Nazar Garden Hotel

Really pleased the report is being done. It won't take away the awful shock and upset but if it saves another dog from the same fate, teaches the owner a lesson, and hopefully other owners will hear what's happened and keep their dogs under control, then some good will come from the bad.

Please can you keep us informed and if you need any help from animal aid regarding the process please let us know.

Hello
Devastated to hear about this. My sympathies to the owner. It's not even necessarily the digs fault but how the dogs have been reared as guard dogs perhaps . It's something that is a worry whichever country, Greece and our beloved Turkey . Ive always feared kangals in particular. Animals need to be socialised. I actually feel sick.

Will they enforce anything? Or will it be the same pathetic response as received from the  RSPCA or london's dog wardens. They're never able to deal with anything. I hope not.

My friend in kaya köy had a similar issue a few years back and the neighbouring hotel's dog jumped her fence and tried to attack her dog. That dig was a kangal . Sge's Maori and string and brave. She picked the dog Up and punched it back into the hotels swimming pool. Owners tried to bad mouth her but she stood her ground.

Have these dogs ever attacked people?

Report taken to the Zabıta. They phoned the Hotel who ınformed them that the Jandarma had done a report and ın fact the lıttle dog ın questıon had wandered ınto they're premıses. They have wıtnesses to thıs fact. The owner of the dog ıs ın UK so cannot pursue tıll she comes back. The guard dogs are OK around humans and obedıant so far. The Hotel  seem to have moved the dogs to another part of the Hotel grounds as they are not ın the cages they buılt for them.

So does that mean they were protecting their premises and the little one shouldn't have been in there? Is that what they're saying?
