New Cafe Bar
« on: September 20, 2013, 20:54:32 PM »
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but thought we should share this little gem of a place with you,we stayed at the Telmessos Complex in Koca Calis and there is a new café/bar just outside the complex, they do basic meals and drinks and also have a small shop selling bread, milk etc. Plenty of tables, chairs and hammocks and son and daughter spent most of the time playing with the chicks and ducklings. Not sure of the name of it but they also have a small campsite there. We christened the guy who works there "Rambo" and he makes the nicest pancakes ever. so if anyone is down that way give this place a try, even the turks eat there.

Yeah - its a wonderful peaceful setting (and very good English spoken !)
We stop there for a drink on our way to Ciftlik market on a Thursday.
Its worth taking a look at the hundereds of turtles and fish in the pool behind the cafe too.

I must post some photos that I took there, it's a lovely place, but I hope it will survive where it is.

We saw the place this year but that area needs a real good tidy - or did in July. Still lots of mess left by the locals who used to frequent that area.

Hopefully they will do well. I'm all for new bars in the area.

 :)

There's a fenced in grave on the beach in front of the cafe - anyone know the history ?
