Hi all, Im sure you've all heard of or read of cagatay aras, the dentist in fethiye, I've just returned having had 8 crowns and 2 bridges, and I am absolutly thrilled to bits, he is so professional, confident, speaks really good English, I gave him a photo from a magazine of how I would like them to look and they are spot on and look so natural but perfect, he definatly knows what he is doing, going to put a comment on his website with photo, honestly! anyone thinking of having cosmetic dentistry" he's your man".Bee:D:D:D

He specialises in odd molars, you are in luck  ;)

He is everything Bee said - I had lots done knowing we were eventually coming back to the UK and that I would never pay UK prices. I too was over the moon with everything he did - he's a very talented man, not just a good dentist. I don't like to think I go to him because he is cheaper (although he certainly is) - I like to think I go to him because he is brilliant. He is in the new(ish) silvery building across from Carrefour, first floor (not far from Burger King).

Also a member on here. The man himself {A Link to an old CBF topic was here - no longer available}31803

Perhaps cagatay is a good dentist, but he is not the only one. I have seen many happy patients that been to Likyadent cross the road from Honda motorbike shop. I translate and assist for this guy. Little english he knows, but makes up with alot of budy language. His work is always guaranteed, does alot of cosmetic stuff and implants.
I would welcome anyone for a free check up.

There is no "perhaps" about it, Catagay is not a good dentist he is a great Dentist and when I have someone drilling away in my mouth I want to be able to put my hand up, stop him and speak to him "one to one "  without the worry that his translator is away doing one of his other three jobs.
Catagay's excellent treatment and total grip of English fills me with confidence.  I don't want to go anywhere else.

As i am a total bag of nerves in the dentists chair - i would only ever go to Cagatay.
Since moving here i have tried several other dentists but never been 100 per cent happy.
I have with Cagatay and have gone on to have a lot of dental work done without feeling anxious at all.
His english is excellent and when he quotes you a price - it is always that price, never more.
He uses all the latest equipment and it is spotless.
The jazz music makes it less dentisty and i actual look forward to going there.!!:D

I managed to have a bit of work done during our last holiday. I had a cracked molar (cracked in half, top to bottom). As it was seen as "cosmetic" in the UK (strangely meaning the tooth could be extracted as I had the tooth next to it still?) I would have to pay for any work other than the extraction. I spoke with Catagay about it and he advised me not to have it extracted but to try to hold onto it till he could have a look, which I did.

Anyway, when he finally saw the job in hand he explained he would try something that should work. It was an option not mentioned in the UK. It did work, fantastically well. Price for cosmetic work quoted in UK? £2,300. The Catagay way - Less than £150!

He's such a good guy - friendly, professional, trustable (as mavigoz says, the price quoted never changes, even if things are harder to do once he gets started) - I can't imagine going to anyone else there.
