Kipa/Tesco
« on: September 25, 2010, 05:35:18 AM »
I bought an iron in Kipa. It had, as you would expect, instructions in Turkish.  I had a look on the internet to see if I could find a Tesco site with the instructions in English. I failed, so I contacted Tesco to see if they had an electronic copy they could e-mail to me. They did not (which I found surprising as they must write the things on computer) but they sent a paper copy to my UK address. So, well done Tesco.

They've also just been mentioned in the paper for advertising 'Nazi' style helmets in one of their Kipa stores. It even had a sign up saying they were 'nazi' helmets.

Needless to say Tesco have removed the offending sign and apologised for their Turkish outlet - well Mr Cohen was Jewish after all.
