The Mulberry Tree is opposite Pasa Kebap

Do you know where that is?

Its not too far from us - a few minutes walk.

If you walk along the main road past the new Migros (prev Carrefour) until the one way system merges - with the exchange office on your imediate left.

Turn left and go with flow of traffic - keep walking a few hundred metres, past Quicksilver, some new clothes shops.

At what will be the third turning (I think) on your left on the way, the Mulberry Tree is on the corner sort of facing you.

On the other side of the road you will have passed the Megri restaurant and then Pasa kebap is opposite the Mulberry Tree.

We buy a whole one (frozen) and take it home!

Enjoy :P

I haven't tried the cakes in the Mulberry Tree (but will do VERY soon!   :o )

Another nice place for home make cakes is Pies and Pastries, just before Scarletts.  Lisa makes the nicest chocolate fudge cake ever!   :)

I am partial to Lisa's homemade merangue - which I take home and slather with Kaymak cream - the closest thing to Cornish Clotted Cream and without a hint of UHT to be found...

Pies and Pastries is in Calis.

There is also a new cake shop has just opened in Hisaronu opposite Talk of the Town.

I hear they have been run off their feet and would be great to get some feedback on here.
