One year left on contract, 29 years old, personally as an Arsenal supporter I say "well done Wenger" - money in the pot   ;)

I think he will get 6 or 36. That's the gamble.

Arsene Wenger got the best deal, as we we all know football these days is about money, and one guy who is on the ball is Arsene.  ;)

Ah everyone is focussed on his ability to score goals, which he does very well in probably any team.  The issue is his appalling injury record, in all his years at Arsenal he only had one consistent injury free season, and then he hammered in the goals.  It was this performance that is everyone's mind, not the previous injury laden record.  I think Fergie took a big gamble in buying him, I only hope it doesn't pay off  ;)

Yes he does seem to know a lot about Arsenal PLC, but in so doing he has forgotten about Arsenal FC.  Which is particularly notable when he limits his ambition for the club as being fourth place in the PL ...... supporters want to be winning trophies, or at least challenging for them to the last, and they expect their managers to be doing the same!!
