Thanks so much for all the info .Can someone tell me where the FiNet office is so that we can go along there please.  We did go into Skyfibrenet but the lady who does speak English was not there, so will go back another time.  We did find that although you get all of BBC and ITV there is no Sky (which we watch quite a lot).

Road from Gunlukbasi to Otogar - 300 mtrs back from main lights at Otogar there is an A101 on the right hand side and the Finer shop is on the same side but across the road that goes across the main road.

Looking for internet we can use when in Calis and switch off when in UK as not happy in paying ongoing fee for empty property. My husband had many quotes last week while in Calis but still undecided ( and he is Turkish)  :D Finet seems to be top of list at the moment. Any help please ;D

Finet is good when it is working and I suspect with a Turkish husband he could explain any technical problems better than most of us     :)

It is certainly good value for us and although there is a "new" player - I e-mailed both fethinet and skyfibrenet a couple of weeks ago and still haven't had a reply!

I would wait and see how things settle down with any new business as experience teaches you that often it is easy to do a great job with just a few customers but the test is how do they manage when they are really busy???

Not sure either if you can "turn off" when not here because that was on the e-mail that I am waiting for a reply     ;)

Thanks Ian I think TTnet done a 2year contract and you can switch of for 3 months when not using. But wait for it!  ;D there's a catch. If you take this option then your contract extends to 27 months. So they are are only actually freezing your contract.

Do you need a phone with Skyfibernet or can you just have Internet package?

Where do you live Jack? We're near the Harman in Calis and touch wood it's been excellent for a few weeks now.
Maybe your local mast has got problems?
