Title: Chillies hot
Post by: pompeylee on June 23, 2016, 20:37:46 PM
I love growing different & very hot chillies here in the UK and have managed to grow chillies bought as young plants from the market  in turkey, they even over winter in turkey without to much care, intend to try and bring a couple of small bhut jolakia plants I have here to turkey in a couple of weeks, does anyone know where you can get very hot or different chiili plants from in turkey? Also going to bring some Peter penis pepper seeds as a novelty for some of our turkish freinds.

Have you checked the legality of travelling with plants ? It's illegal to import most plants from outside the EU into the UK without a special licence, and I'm sure there are similar restrictions about importing them into Turkey.

Pompeylee, take no notice,  just hide 'em  under the bacon.   ;)   I'm still using the chillies I grew last year, got them in the freezer.
