Title: Universal wall socket

Good morning/afternoon, all.
I'm thinking of replacing all my wall sockets with this (or similar in various forms) to allow all USB electronics and plugs from EU/UK/USA to be plugged in without the need for adapters.

Question: has anyone already tried this? What are your views? Anything to be wary of when installing? (I'd be having electricians install, of course!)

Thanks in advance, before I purchase a shed load of these!

Good idea. All new builds in Singapore are fitted with them apparently.

Thanks @KKOB...it DOES seem to make sense, especially if you're looking to rent out as holiday let (don't think I'll go down that path yet).

My thoughts were I don't want to even think about taking adapters when bringing laptops, phone chargers, etc. from the UK; but also, that allows me to source products from across Europe as well.

Thanks again.

When we moved out there we took 4 UK 4/5-gang trailing leads and put 'Turkish' plugs on the leads. Saved changing all the plugs on our UK stuff.

We did the same as KKOB - a much cheaper option than replacing all the sockets.
