My daughter once purchased a large jar of minced garlic but we have never been able to find it since .Brilliant for adding a spoonful or more to dishes . If anyone spots any please let me know as I have been searching for ages.

You sometimes see this in the "Asian" section of the larger supermakets alongside the noodles, soya sauce etc. It's a bit hit and miss on availability, but worth checking out....

Yes, most of big supermarkets stock this, it is sometimes called Lazy Garlic and can be found near the Lazy Ginger. Seriously! Very useful stuff. There is also a tube of garlic purée.

One thing I always stock up with when I do a "trolley dash" to the UK is Gia garlic puree. Saves all the faff of peeling & it's never full of green shoots, as the fresh stuff is at certain times of the year

I buy a load   of fresh garlic when its in season peel it all and then freeze the cloves whole. Once the jobs done it lasts for months. Simples.
