Reading and artical in the Times travel section make me think about the thread on CFB about the rising costs of holidaying/living in Turkey and those Turkey lovers who are choosing other destinations because of their increasingly good value, Spain and Portugal who have been mentioned on a regular basis are an example.
These costs were based on a typical basket of 10 holiday purchases and against a weaker pound, which is why those members have chosen to go alternative destinations.
With peoples finances streched you can see why they make that decision.
1 Euro a pint against an increasingly expensive Efes.........I know what I would want to pay.
By the way how much is Efes at the moment?
