I never change it over here, I always get it in Calis. Much better rate.

I always change mine in Calis too - just needed a few lira to get us going for a day or two.  Couldn't believe how low the rate is.  My son and his girlfriend are coming out with us, and they only have sterling (guess they'll be using my "few lira" too, so it wont go far!)

you can change £ s here or pay in pounds at some places

Going into legitimate change offices in Fethiye, you will find that you get a slightly better rate than Calis.
Just be careful of people sitting on their stools outside retail shops offering supposedly better rates.

So come on all you Nationwide Card holders - how good are they really? I ask because I've just been accepted for a Flexi account with debit card (and credit card) and intend to use this for withdrawing YTL or £ in Calis.

Will I save money or have I just wasted 10 mins on the computer?

Debit card is  excellant Stoop but I did get charged on my credit card.

We always our Nationwide Flexi Account debit card and always get a good exchange rate.No you haven,t wasted 10 mins.

Cheers you two. I took the credit card because it was offered but probably won't use it unless it's better than the one I have.
