you could always ask in a restraunt what the translation is, or have a look on a menu that has a section in turkish..

Entrecote is sirloin steak trimmed if you cant get it ,the nearest you will get is T.bone roughly the same meat  ;)

got fantastic Rib Eye in Migros a couple of weeks ago - melt in the mouth.  We asked for Rib eye and got Rib Eye !!!

sunnyd entrecote means between the bones the best steak for that is sirloin ,when trimmed properly it is entrecote.rib eye is near the shoulder ribs then the T bone ribs then the sirloin,then the rump ;)

entrecote.. a steak sliced from between the ribs of a rib roast cut. AKA ribeye  ;)
Anyway while in Turkey the nearest version of whatever you think rib eye is... is Antrikot  :)

Other names for the Ribeye Steak are Delmonico steak, Scotch fillet, beauty steak, market steak,Spencer steak, Fillet de la Thistle and Entrecôte  :P

The butcher in the undercover market in Fethiye,Yeh! where the fish are sold,has Ribeye ,Silverside and certainly understands european cuts of beef,Believe his name is Savas[h]

Yes, we always go to him, usually about £4.00 for two huge fillet steaks.
